Ryann Upwood is a choreographer, instructor, and dancer based in the Greater Toronto Area. As a recent business college graduate, Ryann is currently seeking exciting choreography opportunities with studios and dancers who are eager to explore style, expression, and artistry.

Her competitive choreography has received multiple accolades, including Judge's Choice Choreography and Entertainment awards, as well as several overall high scoring awards. Her work is recognized for its distinct style and flow, creative concepts, use of musicality, and emotional expression through movement. Ryann combines a current, contemporary choreographic approach with her technical background built through years of formal training.
In her years as a professional in the industry, Ryann has worked to develop a clear artistic voice. She continues to grow as a creator through taking dance classes from other professionals, pursuing certifications to educate herself on various teaching methods, and by drawing inspiration from the dancers she works with. She has found inspiration from her own mentors and aims to foster a similar sense of enlightenment in growing and passionate dancers.
Ryann is passionate about bringing her choreography into new spaces and is always excited to collaborate with studios and inspire dancers to continually develop their own artistry.
