KENNEDY BURTT

Guest Instructor/Choreographer

Kennedy Burtt has been dancing since the age of 2 in her hometown of St. Catharines, Ontario where she still resides. She started at a small non-competitive studio training in styles such as tap, jazz and ballet. She soon moved on to Dance FX and became fully submerged in the competitive dance lifestyle at the age of 6. She then expanded her horizons training in many other genres like modern, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. Continuing to grow as a dancer, Kennedy developed a true love for tap and hip hop, eventually performing duets and solos alongside groups at top competitions. When Kennedy was 12 she took an interest in helping the other students and soon began assisting in younger classes. She loved every second of it and developed skills she would eventually apply to her own classes. Kennedy has learned from top choreographers around the world including Paul Otterbein, Brandon "Bizzy" Owusu, Matthew Clark, David Cox, Travis Knight and many others. Kennedy is also part of an elite hip hop crew H3 Niagara to further her dance education and challenge her boundaries. This team traveled as far as Chicago to a world renowned competition placing 14th alongside some of the best hip hop crews in the world. Kennedy absolutely loves what she does. She will never stop expanding her dance vocabulary and continues to improve so that she can better her students and give them the best dance experience possible.
