Kallie  Hinds

Assistant Director/ Teacher/ Choreographer

Kallie Hinds has been passionate about dance since the age of three, training in a wide range of styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, acro, contemporary, and musical theatre. By the age of seven, she began competing and quickly stood out, earning numerous scholarships, overalls, and special awards — most notably Most Captivating Performance. Her talent has taken her onto international stages, including competing at the Dance World Cup in Portugal and World of Dance in Chicago, as well as performing on The Next Step Tour.​

Throughout her training, Kallie has worked with renowned industry professionals such as David Cox, Brandon “Bizzy” Owusu, and Paul Otterbein, constantly refining her skills and expanding her artistry.

 

As a teacher, Kallie is celebrated for her positive encouragement, selfless attitude, and fun teaching style. She has choreographed award-winning routines, receiving multiple choreography, overall, and special awards, and takes pride in training dancers of all ages and levels. Fully invested in everything she does, she is dedicated to developing not only strong athletes but also confident and resilient individuals.

 

Kallie is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Studies, combining her academic knowledge with her dance experience to support the growth and development of her students. She also holds her Artistic Dance Educators Jazz Teacher Certification, and is certified in Adjudicating Hip Hop and Culturally Rooted Hip Hop Education through the John Comix Method.

 

As the Assistant Director of Dance FX, Kallie’s exceptional organizational and planning skills help structure and strengthen the studio. Known as a friendly face and a helping hand, she truly values every student who walks through the DFX doors.

 

Kallie is beyond excited to continue sharing her love of dance and to instil lifelong lessons of discipline, creativity, and passion in every dancer she teaches.
