Julian has received numerous special awards for his tap solo performances at various dance competitions across Ontario. Most notably in 2024, Julian competed at the Canadian Dance Awards where he was awarded a finalist jacket, granting him the opportunity to compete for Senior Male Best Dancer of the Year at the American Dance Awards (ADA).  Further, Julian has received numerous scholarships, which enabled him to further his education in tap. In 2023, Julian obtained his Tap Dance Syllabus Teaching Certification, and in 2025, he became double certified in tap with Artistic Dance Educators (ADE).

In addition to his specialization in tap, Julian has trained in hip-hop, musical theatre, and jazz, giving him a well-rounded dance foundation that enhances his tap teaching style. Julian’s choreography has also received numerous special awards and overalls across competitions in the Niagara region, further solidifying his talent and recognition as a choreographer.

Julian has commenced with teaching and choreographing, and he is thrilled to share his passion and skill set with our future generations of dancers. "I believe it is important to create a teaching environment where dancers feel inspired to express themselves artistically. It is my hope to share all that has inspired my dance journey with those who are looking to learn the craft.

Julian started dancing at the age of eight in the genres of jazz and hip-hop. Thereafter, Julian discovered his love for the rhythm and style of tap dance. Julian has had the privilege of training alongside renowned tap teachers and choreographers, such as David Cox, Celina DiFelice, and Alyssa Aceti. Their innovative styles and expertise were instrumental in shaping Julian's approach to tap dancing.
