Alyssa Aceti
Teacher/Choreographer
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Alyssa Aceti is an established young choreographer, adjudicator, interdisciplinary performer, and teacher. Alyssa has trained extensively with highly acclaimed instructors within the genres of tap, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre; making her into the successful well-rounded dance professional she is today.

Alyssa teaches for several elite studios across Canada, specializing in tap, contemporary and modern dance. She continues to lead her classes using recognized technique methods/syllabuses such as Graham technique, Horton technique, the united tap syllabus, functional training techniques and many more. Alyssa has been recognized for her outstanding achievements in both dance and choreography. For her work she has received top discipline scores, session choreography awards and overall competition adjudication awards, as well as scholarships, and invitations to prestigious professional programs as a dancer. Alyssa is a certified adjudicator, through the Professional Adjudicators Alliance of Canada giving her the privilege to judge for Canadian Dance competitions over the last few years. In recent years, Alyssa has also expanded her passion into Canadian dance conventions and workshops such as CREO, Dance Attack, Dream to Dance, CanI Dance (Inspire) and more to come in 2025. Additionally, she has had the privilege of dancing in Fever After Dark’s productions of “Divas” and “Summer madness” in 2024, perform as a principal dancer for local theatre companies, represent Canada at the International Dance Organization Tap world championships in Riesa, Germany as the top scoring Canadian female adult soloist and working with local youth theatre programs. Alongside her achievements in the art of dance, Alyssa graduated with honours from McMaster University, receiving her Bachelor of Commerce. During her time at McMaster, she held the position of dancer, captain, and choreographer, for McMaster’s varsity dance team 2019- 2023. Alyssa encourages authenticity within your movement and positivity between fellow dancers. She teaches her students to dream big and give it everything even when you feel like you have nothing more to give and hopes to see all who come across her path shine!
